Add some color to your life with Indigo!
Meet Indigo! Indigo is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).
Indigo is a young, mixed breed, female puppy with snowy white fur and a black tipped ear. She has a lighter black circle around one eye, which makes her look so endearing! One of our Crayola crayon orphans, Indigo traveled from the Brazoria SPCA in Texas to find a new home in the PNW area. The color indigo is often associated with calm and wisdom, like the night sky; our Indigo … well, she’s still a puppy, so maybe not calm and wise quite yet.
While Indigo is working on her wisdom, she exudes friendliness and affection. This playful and sweet girl is looking for all the attention she can get, and some warm snuggles with you or game play is right up her alley. She is learning to temper her puppy exuberance (while people may love cuddles, toe nibbling is less appreciated) while settling into the routines of her foster home. Affectionate Indigo enjoys giving gentle kisses to her foster’s young children. Clumsily romping with other dogs is a favorite pastime, and she’d never turn down a walk.
Born in late June of 2024, Indigo is learning new skills every day. She is progressing through her potty training and wakes once during the night. She does well in her crate for several hours at time, and she has just started walking on a leash. She will begin basic obedience shortly. In the meantime, Indigo is spending her days romping, cuddling, and getting lots of playtime, love, and new adventures with her foster family. Indigo is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her new home.
Indigo’s ideal home? This adorable girl seeks people to love who will love her in return. A family with children to lavish her with attention would be delightful, but she would also be content to have that one special person in her life. Walks and adventures and games would make her deliriously happy. If this sounds good to you, maybe it is time to add some Indigo to your life!
