My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bowser is a sweet puppy looking for a family to love, check out his highlights:

• Gentle, submissive cuddle bug
• House trained with frequent outings
• Wants to be with his person all the time, he will be your loyal shadow
• Neutered
• Currently 10lbs and will be a medium sized dog
• Loves other dogs and would love a buddy to play with

This adorable puppy found himself in the Fulton county shelter way to young and vulnerable. He was adopted, but his new family realized he was sick with something he had been exposed to and decided to return him to the shelter. Bowser had developed an upper respiratory infection which is commonly spread in shelters. He now needed immediate medical help and Hero Dog Rescue had him transferred him to an ER vet. All he needed was some antibiotics and some TLC to start feeling like a puppy should and continues to recover at his foster home.

Bowser is still on the mend from his cold and doing great. He gets stronger and more playful everyday and soon he will be ready to meet his forever family. Being a young puppy, he needs a family that is onboard with all the puppy training that will help make him a great adult dog. He will needs a family that has someone home all day for frequent potty breaks and 3 feedings a day. If you are interested in learning more about this sweet little guy please apply with Hero Dog Rescue. Warning: he has the adorable puppy eyes routine down and he will melt your heart.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.

Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
