Rocky was an owner surrender in a very small kill shelter in rural North Carolina. Luckily he was able to catch a ride on a shuttle coming to Florida and now he is ready to find his new loving home. This little guy is sweet. He is a smart young dog with lots of energy and will do best with a little training and lots of exercise. He does seem to have some training but his foster mom has only had him a week as of 9/29 and his personality is just starting to show. He has no history of being around cats that we are aware of * and is ok with most dogs but probably would not be good with dogs smaller than himself.
*he seems to have a high prey drive so cats probably would not be a good idea.
His ideal home would be with an active family to give him lots of love, attention, outdoor exercise and gentle guidance, I think he would make a perfect hiking and jogging partner.
He is now neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. Ready to have his own humans to love.
