My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You'll know it's me when you see my multi-striped nose, and oh yeah, my short tail! Maybe my grandpa was a Manx cat? I'm outgoing and fun loving! You'll enjoy having me around and watching me play as much as having our snuggle time together! I like new people, as long as they pet me gently and maybe give me a little sweet talk to win me over. I love having toys around all the time! I have so much fun with my little toys, chasing them across the room, and I love playing in cat tunnels with them too! I'm learning to safely have fun with a cat tree here! I LOVE playing a lot with the electronic toy that spins under a sheet with a butterfly on top! (From Amazon) I can have fun with my toys all by myself, or with a fun cat buddy that's not overly enthusiastic. I don't think it's fun to wrestle or be jumped on while we're playing! Be sure to play with our wand toys often to have fun with me and show me you're a little silly too!

More about this shelter

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.

Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.

Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
