Background: We adopted Lady, a deaf pitbull 2 years ago. She was such a great fit and came into our home because she was great as we fostered her. She had been returned to the shelter twice and had severe separation anxiety and does not do well in a cage. Lady is very sweet and loving but does require a lot of attention. She has high anxiety and will howl to soothe herself. We need to rehome her because she has attacked our other dog who is a small Dotson mix twice. Lady has bee going to daycare and does great with dogs her size or larger. She has not been around small children and I would not risk putting her in a home with children under 10. She is house trained and can stay at home alone but cannot tolerate being put in a crate. Lady will do well in a home with active and patient owners where she is the only dog and there are no small children.
