Tula was a friendly, outdoor, well fed cat who was brought into the shelter by the person feeding her. She was brought in with her three newborn kittens. They were all in foster care within a few hours. She was an amazing mama cat and took perfect care of her babies and now it is her turn to be treated like a queen.
She loves to be pet on her head and under her chin. Sometimes she will roll over for a belly rub, but will let you know when she’s had enough by giving you one or two meows. Tula likes to sit and watch all that goes on outside, takes naps by a window and/or a comfy spot. She is very verbal when you walk in a room and will come up to you for some love. Sometimes Tula will come up and lay right next to you once she knows you but often prefers to just be close by.
There are times when Tula gets playful and will go after a toy, chase a wand and/or a red laser. However, she’s really in need of having a home to call her own where she can roam free and get more exercise than she is now in her foster room. After being spayed she has gained some weight, although she’s still a cute fluffier cat she does need more activity.
If you'd like to meet Tula or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!
