Meet Twinkle, the 1.5-year-old, 43-pound sparkler who’s ready to light up your life! This shy and sweet girl is ready to leave her traumatic past behind her and find her forever human to show her what love, patience and kindness is. Twinkle is incredibly sweet with people she trusts, always ready to shower you with affection and brighten your day.
Though she's done well with some dogs, Twinkle knows what she likes and can be a bit selective with her furry friends. But don't worry—she’s perfectly content to be the star of your household! Crate-trained and ready for her new home, Twinkle is looking for a family that’s ready for lots of love, fun, and maybe a few twinkling adventures. Twinkle was rescued from life on a heavy chain, living outside without access to food, water or reasonable shelter. Her previous owner was arrested on animal cruelty charges. Although we don't know for sure what Twinkle endured we do know that she'll need her new owner to understand that she'll take a little time to learn how to live inside of a home and be patient with her.
