My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Lydia. She is 4 years old and is a papillon mix. She is an extremely sweet dog and very smart. She gets along very well with other dogs and cats and loves kids. I have had her for 4 years and adopted her from a humane society.

Unfortunately I am no longer able to keep her. I am going back to school in a few months and she will not have the attention that she needs. She has some issues with eliminating in the house, but I believe it has more to do with this environment. She is pretty good at alerting when she needs to go out but sometimes she will go if she feels like she isn’t getting our attention or doesn’t see us around. She does better with treats to reinforce going outside. She is also crate trained for when we are not home.

While she does very well with other pets, she likes very much to be with people and loves to show affection. We want to make sure someone can take care of her and give her the chance to be with a happy loving family
