My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:6/26/2024

Description:

Snap is a pretty little kitty who likes to play. From the moment she wakes she is high energy and ready to go! She is very active and will play with a multitude of different toys. She also gets along well with other cats and dogs. There is a softer side to this kitten, and she has a motor and will purr when you come near her. She loves to cuddle and snuggle, too!

Words to Describe Me: Feisty little girl who loves to rumble!

Favorite Place to Sleep: Snap likes to sleep on her blanket and in fact will often be found under the covers.

Favorite Toy: She really plays equally with the little balls with bells and the cat scratch. She jumps and rolls and tumbles with the toys,

Perfect Day: Snap would play all day, until her little body needs to rest. She would then gladly curl up on a soft blanket and take gentle petting as she drifted off to sleep.

Kitty's Likes: To be loved on and played with.

Kitty's Dislikes: She is not big on being confined and will cry is you kennel her.

Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: One pet and she starts to purr! She loves people!

Favorite Treat: Snap loves the licking treats (like Churu) and the kitty treats (like Friskies Temptations)

Job Title in Foster: 2nd in Command

When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: Gymnist

Other Info: This little girl has alot of personality.

  • Good with Cats: Loves cats.

  • Good with Dogs:  Likes dogs given a proper introduction.

  • Good with Children: Loves all children.

  • Companion Animal: Requires a companion if left alone for a long time.

Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age.

Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match. Applications can be submitted on our website at  www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply.

Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
