Hi there! My name is Porthos. I am a handsome 7 week old (as of 10/02/2024), male, Domestic medium hair kitten that was brought to the shelter i the hopes that I would be able to find a furever family. I am required to return to RAC for my neuter and rabies vaccine on Wednesday 11/06/24. This date is non negotiable and part of our adoption contract. Please plan accordingly if you plan to adopt. My adoption fee includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, FVRCP booster and 1st dewormer. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.

Dogs are tested for heartworms (if old enough), spayed/neutered, microchipped, given DHLP-P and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $125.

Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given FVRCP-PN and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $75.
