Meet Bootstrap, an 8-year-old sweetheart who is an absolute lovebug. He adores being petted and will greet you with the sweetest headbutts. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around. Bootstrap is FeLV positive (Feline Leukemia Virus), but don’t let that scare you! Many kitties with this virus live long, happy lives. He just needs to be the only cat in the home to thrive. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, Bootstrap would be the perfect addition to your family! He is neutered and vaccinated and ready for his forever home.

If you are looking for a new pet, Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Services shelter has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
