This handsome, furry fellow is Jake! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 9/24 and was adopted, but he came back to the shelter on 11/09 because the family's landlord had a restriction on the size of a dog. Sweet Jake is how hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Jake as friendly and curious, and he has the softest coat! Jake will sit nicely for treats when asked. He gets excited when offered treats, so he'll need a little help learning to accept them gently! With a little patient guidance, he'll learn in no time. His motto is "stop and smell the flowers" along the way. Jake really likes to take his time on walks and sniff things. If you're looking for walking buddy who likes to amble along and take his time, please come meet Jake!

Jake is approximately 3 years old, and he weighs 72 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, now neutered, and will be microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Jake's ID # is 5880.
