My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Muriel: Your Future Best Friend

Introducing Muriel, a stunning young female Belgian Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever home. Muriel's story is one of hope and resilience; she was rescued from euthanasia and has since blossomed into a friendly, happy, and kind-hearted companion.

About Muriel:
Muriel is a bundle of joy with a heart full of love. Her friendly nature makes her an excellent companion for families, singles, or couples. She radiates happiness and has an infectious zest for life that will brighten your days. Muriel is incredibly kind and loyal, always eager to please and form a deep bond with her human family.

Training:
While Muriel is naturally well-behaved, she may require some training to help her adjust to her new home and routine. Her intelligent and eager-to-learn nature will make the training process a rewarding experience for both of you. Basic obedience, house training, and socialization will help Miriel become the best version of herself.

What to Expect When Adopting a Dog:

  1. Commitment : Adopting a dog is a long-term commitment. Dogs like Muriel can live for over a decade, so be prepared for a lifelong relationship.
  2. Time and Patience: Dogs, especially those who have had rough beginnings, need time to adjust to their new environment. Patience is key.
  3. Training : Consistent training and positive reinforcement are crucial. This helps build trust and ensures good behavior.
  4. Exercise: German Shepherd mixes are typically active and will need regular exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
  5. Health Care: Regular vet check-ups, vaccinations, and a good diet are essential to keep your furry friend in top shape.
  6. Love and Affection: Dogs thrive on love and attention. Be ready to shower Muriel with plenty of both!

Adopting Muriel means not just gaining a pet, but also a loyal friend who will stand by your side through thick and thin. If you're looking for a companion who will fill your life with joy and unconditional love, Muriel is the perfect match.

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters, strays, owner surrenders and hoarders. We have been saving animals since December 2016. We hold weekly adoption events at various pet stores and pet expos. We hire dog walkers to walk our dogs and we have volunteers who help us weekly. Many of our dogs go to boarding and training to become adoptable and work on their behavioral issues. All our dogs are assessed to find a great family match.

All dogs receive all necessary medical attention and all dogs are vetted.
