My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby was found roaming at large, the owners were contacted but they decided they were not in a position to keep a pet - they were keeping her chained to a car when she was not roaming the neighborhood. The finders kept her and planned to have her spayed, but it wasn't achieved quickly enough to prevent a litter of pups. The family is working with LHS to find mama Ruby and her 3 pups a forever home to call their own.

Despite the rough start to her life, Ruby is the absolute sweetest doggie. She is great with dogs, cats and kids of all shapes and sizes. She is housebroken and can be trusted to have free roam of the house.

Ruby is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworms and received a Proheart12 injection (slow kill method). If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, complete an online application today and the foster will be in touch!

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
