Poppyseed - Female DOB 4/10/2024 Domestic Short Hair Black -

Poppyseed, with her silky jet-black coat, is a shy and quiet five-month-old kitten who is still learning to come out of her shell. She's settled into our quiet room with other friendly cats and is slowly gaining confidence. Once Poppyseed feels safe, her playful side emerges, and we love to see her darting around the rescue with her kitten friends. She has a healthy appetite for such a small kitten and is starting to enjoy gentle pets from the volunteers she has grown to trust.

Poppyseed would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom. She gets along well with other friendly cats and could go home with her friend from the rescue, Butch. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in a household without dogs or children. Poppyseed is a gentle soul just waiting for the right family to help her feel secure and loved!

(Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY.

We require an application with references, there is no fee to fill out an application. Once approved a contract for adoption must be signed by the adopter and donation fee paid depending on the age of cat. All applications, contracts and fees are listed on our webpage www.furrr.org The application can be emailed to our adoption coordinator at adoption@furrr.org Please remember we are all volunteers with jobs and families, requests will be answered as quickly as possible.

More about this rescue

FuRRR Feline Rescue, Rehabilitation & Retirement is a non profit 501c3, we are staffed by all volunteers and we are a no kill rescue. We rescue kittens and senior cats, some stay with us for a short time, others may be with us for the rest of their lives. The cats live in a cage free environment, with lots of towers and cubbies to play and hid and lots of love and care from our volunteers. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and have been combo tested.
