Simone is a pretty pooch who is with our partner rescue in NC. This partner is a small shelter and these pups are all at risk of euthanasia for space in the coming weeks. It is URGENT that we help them avoid euthanasia by taking some dogs into Wag On Inn Rescue. Simone can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters.

Simone is described as a sweet, gentle girl with calm energy. She walks wonderfully on the leash and is very respectful. She is nervous with new people and new dogs but adjusts nicely and has improved since arriving at the shelter. She is a shelter staff favorite!

Simone is fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She is heartworm positive and will require treatment. She needs a foster willing to take her for heartworm treatment (Barnegat NJ) to save her life. Her adoption fee is $450.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
