Meet Frodo, a sweet and lovable pup who’s ready to be your new best friend! At around 2 years old and 70 lbs, this Malinois mix is a great blend of affectionate, playful, and gentle. With his long legs and even longer snout, Frodo’s got a charming look that will melt your heart every morning with kisses and happy tail wags. â¤ï¸
Frodo is house-trained (not a single accident!) and non-destructive—he hasn’t chewed on anything he’s not supposed to and just gently nibbles on a tennis ball now and then. When it comes to treats, he’s super gentle, and he’s respectful of counters and furniture, making him easy to have around the house. He occasionally mouths a hand or leg when he’s feeling playful, but he’s so gentle and easily redirected with treats or toys.
On walks, Frodo is calm and curious. He’s non-reactive to people, bikes, cars, and other dogs, and while he may stop to check out a passing pup, he’s easy to get moving again. He likes to keep a brisk pace (those long legs love to stretch!), and while he might pull lightly on the leash, he’s still quite manageable.
Frodo loves people and thrives on companionship. He’s a little reserved when meeting new faces, allowing gentle pets from strangers, but once he warms up, he’s a big cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Because of his strong desire for company, Frodo has some separation anxiety and barks when left alone—he would do best in a home where he won’t be alone often or with a family that can help him learn to feel safe and secure.
If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who just wants to be by your side, Frodo is ready to bring all his love and sweetness into your life.
