Brock is fully house trained. He does his best sleeping in a room with a human and is accustomed to sleeping on his dog bed, but will wander and be busy all night if allowed. Brock understands basic commands. We are working on maintaining these skills when in stimulating environments, which makes it much harder for him. Brock is a very busy mind and wound benefit from someone with skills or someone who is ready to take on training to help create a physically and mentally stimulating environment. We are focused on leash walking, focusing commands ('look at me') retrieval play, and 'leave it' commands.
Brock is very sweet and wants to be in someone's company. He loves morning snuggles and can be busy for hours playing fetch, walking, or if you are very daring- a little rollerblading. Brock would do best in a single dog home, with an active family or with a fenced in yard, as he is a high energy pup.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.
When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.
Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.
Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
