Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Look at this gal's cute little white toes! Oppenheimer AKA Oppi was described by her last owner as a cuddly cat who enjoyed lying on the lap of her trusted human. The shelter has been stressful for Oppi and she has been feeling insecure about making new friends in this busy environment. Once settled into her new home, with adopters willing to give her space if she needs it during this transitional time, we expect Oppi will make a sweet companion.
Oppi may acclimate most easily in an overall quieter household with older or no kids. She was buddies with the dog in her last home and, given slow intros, may be a good choice for a family with another well-matched canine. Though not required to go home together, Schrodinger (3000656) and Oppenheimer (3000658) may be co-adopted for a shared $75 adoption fee if you're in the market for two kitties who enjoyed playing together in their last home. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Age: 2yrs 6mths 1wks

How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
