My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Paige is a very sweet and great mom. A postal worker told one of our fosters that there was a stray cat with her kittens in a field. A trap was placed in the field and by that afternoon Paige and her kittens, Pip and Pixie were in it. Paige was in rough shape when she came to Four The Paws. We assume that she was in a fight and saved two of her babies. Paige had no hair on her ears and they were sores on them. She also had a nose that was very bruised. She was hungry and was grateful for the food and shelter she received for herself and her babies. Paige's hair is growing back on her ears and her nose is almost completely healed. Paige was hurt but that never stopped her from being an excellent mom, her babies eyes were not even open yet. She tended to them and they are now almost ready to find their furever home.  Paige loves to be around people and petted. She will rub you with her head until you pay attention to her. Paige will do best in a house without a dog, she goes after them. Paige is spayed, received  her 1st FVRCP vaccine and tested negative for leukemia/FIV. She was already dewormed and received flea medication. To adopt Paige, please go to www.fourthepaws.org and complete an application for them. Paige's adoption fee will be $120.00.

More about this rescue

Four the Paws has been established as a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of abandoned, injured, and homeless strays in the Bucks County and Philadelphia areas. Animals in our care will receive immediate and appropriate veterinary attention that will include a wellness exam, testing, age-appropriate vaccines, and any additional medical assistance.

These neglected animals will be spayed/neutered if necessary as soon as possible and then placed in carefully selected secure foster care. This safe haven will afford all proper and fundamental essentials needed for the physical as well as emotional well-being of the rescued animals. In addition, each animal will be evaluated for its individual re-homing requisites with the intent to adopt to responsible homes.

Four the Paws will also promote and place emphasis on educating the general public in respect to proper pet care. This goal will help ensure the welfare of animals that are available for adoption as well as that of those fortunate ones who have already been placed in good homes.
