My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Charmy, an adorable 6-month-old grey and white male filled with personality! While I might be a bit nervous around new people at first, once I feel comfortable, I turn into a love bug. I absolutely adore to purr, and there's nothing quite like the sound of my contented rumble as I weave through my human's legs, showcasing my affection and trust.

I've been to several adoption events where I watch other kitties and their siblings go off to their new homes. I can't help but wonder when someone will give me a chance. I know my patient person is out there! I've worked hard to learn to trust humans, and if given the opportunity, I'll show you just how much I can shine.

I prefer to approach on my own terms, which is a gentle reminder that patience is key in building a bond with me. I'm very food motivated and absolutely love squeeze tube treats-they're my favorite! Whether it's mealtime or treat time, you can always count on me to be right there, eager and ready to share those precious moments with you.

I also love spending time with my brother, Jelly Bean, who is just as special as I am. Together, we bring double the joy and warmth to any home!

I've been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated with my RCP series and rabies vaccine, combo tested for FIV and FeLV, flea treated, and dewormed. My adoption fee is $200 (a patience discount!).

With my playful spirit and gentle demeanor, I'm sure to bring happiness to your life. Get ready for endless cuddles and purrs with me, your charming little feline friend, who thrives in a loving environment where I can feel safe and secure!

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
