Hello there! My name is Ruby, and I'm a petite feline looking for my forever home. I may be small in size, but I have a big heart full of love to give to the right family. I'll admit, I can be quite shy at first. New people and environments make me a little nervous, so I tend to find cozy hiding spots where I feel safe. But please don't let that discourage you! With patience and gentle encouragement, I slowly come out of my shell.

If there are kids in my new home, I would like them to be older than 6 and need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington uses the following guidelines for adoptions:

1. Adopted animals will be spayed or neutered prior to their adoption.

2. Adopted animals will be placed as companion animals.

3. Adopted animals must be kept in accordance with all local laws and ordinances.

4. All animals leaving the shelter must be wearing identification and restrained by leash or carrier.
