Mel is one handsome 5-month-old pup, weighing in at 32 pounds of pure puppy love! Currently living it up in a fabulous foster home in NJ, Mel is charming everyone he meets—humans and dogs alike. He’s having a blast learning from his foster dog siblings and showing off just how good he can be. He’s also good with kids! Mel’s already awesome on a leash, crate trained, and so close to being fully house-trained!

His favorite pastimes? Playing with his Kong toys and treat mat (he’s a pro at it!), and of course, bringing smiles to everyone with his affectionate and goofy personality. He’s playful, happy, and always up for an adventure! Since Mel is still a puppy, he’ll need some continued training, but he’s eager to please and super smart, so he’s ready to learn! Oh, and did we mention he’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines? Yep, Mel is all set to find his forever family! His adoption fee is $475. Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
