Meet the goofy floof, Ollie II! Ollie is a smart mini golden doodle who loves the outdoors whether itâÂÂs running in circles or staring at trees deep in thought. He is both a couch potato and full of energy without much in between. He is 3 years old and 32 pounds.
The best home for Ollie would be a place where he can be the center of attention and have lots of time running in the backyard or practicing new tricks. Speaking of tricks, he is crate, leash, and potty trained. Ollie also knows âÂÂplaceâ and if you turn your finger into a gun and say bang, he might even play dead (or just ask for tummy rubs). He is very smart and picks up on new things very quickly, even little things that you might not even notice.
Ollie does struggle with anxiety and can get easily overstimulated, especially with toys, food, or physical touch so heâÂÂs not good around kids who might not know when to give him space. Ollie isnâÂÂt a snuggler and can be cautious when approached, but if you let him come to you, he loves to lick and bury his head into people. At mealtime, Ollie can be a picky eater and might need space away from distractions. With food especially, Ollie may try and guard it if you come near. He is well trained though, and if he ever does get too excited by food or anything else, give him a command and he will generally listen.
Right now Ollie is living with a 7-month-old human whose crying stresses him out. And now that sheâÂÂs starting to move and reach out to pull his fur, he is getting uncomfortable with her. Additionally, we are moving in with an elderly family member who is a no-go with dogs, so sadly Ollie is in need of a new home. We love Ollie dearly and hope he will find a new home where he will be loved just as much!
