Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Milo and Sage are a bonded pair of sweet 1-year-olds looking for their forever home!
These sweet stripey bffs love to cuddle, groom, play with one another and be cuddled by their humans. Milo enjoys being on a harness outside and is truly the life of the party. Sage takes a little longer to warm up than Milo, but she also likes pets and snuggles. Sage's favorite hobby is bug watching, while Milo is a ham and needs to be the center of attention all the time.
These cuties love to play. They are excited to chase strings and will always check out whatever the humans are into. Like most cats, they enjoy long naps in the sunlight and have their active playtime at dawn and dusk.
They currently live with three adults in a house and are the only animals at the residence. They do not have access to any of the bedrooms because we have a lot of houseplants that we needed to separate them from.
No special litter box needs for these two, but we prefer to use crystal litter with them because it is less messy and dust-producing than the clay litter—these two do tend to kick a bit in their enthusiasm to cover everything completely!
The ideal home for this dynamic duo is somewhere with plenty of high climbing perches, along with someone who is around a lot and has time to play with them. They are very special cats and have such great temperaments. They need a family who is going to be patient with their high-energy needs, and who is willing to provide the love and attentiveness they crave.
We also suspect that both cats might have some very mild allergies as they have some sniffles that come and go, so their forever family would have to be okay with working with the vet to help them solve this issue.
In all his interactions, Milo is very sociable; we describe him as ""dog-like"". He will greet you at the door and he enjoys being held, pet and played with. He is known to get along with other cats and kids. We have never seen him interact with a dog but believe he would love a dog companion.
Sage is a little quieter, but also very sweet. She is most receptive to being petted and held right around feeding time. She gets along with other cats, too; we believe that she would get along well with dogs and cats who give her space when she needs it.
These two kitties can be flexible regarding the number of people and animals in the home. Milo would enjoy a highly stimulating environment, whereas Sage might do better in a calmer place, but they will adapt as long as they are together.
Would you like to double your fun and companionship this fall? Please consider adding Milo and Sage to your family!
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

Our Vision
A Minnesota where all pets live in safe, loving homes.
Our Values
Excellence in service and care; community; integrity; innovation; perseverance; compassion; a rewarding place to volunteer
How We Help
Spay/Neuter Initiative Program: Providing support to end pet overpopulation in Minnesota
Owner Surrender: Providing a safe haven for pet owners
Foster: Committed to finding forever homes for cats and dogs
Phoenix Fund for Special Needs: Providing veterinary care for animals in need of healing
What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
