My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi there, I'm Ruth! I'm a seasoned gal with a heart full of love and a spirit that's still spry.  I was the pampered pooch at a sanctuary with 40 other dogs, then disaster struck.  Our mom passed away.  We were sent to a vet hospital, where they convinced A Doggie 4 You to take me and my remaining 5 siblings.

My personality is a delightful mix of mellow and playful, curious and smart. I'm known for my goofy antics that keep everyone laughing, and my gentle, cuddly nature that makes me the perfect companion. I'm loyal to a fault and can always be counted on to keep your secrets.

I've got plenty of energy to keep up with your adventures, and I'm always up for learning new tricks. Despite my age, I'm young at heart and ready to share my love with a new family.

Adopting me means endless laughter, unconditional love, and a friend for life.

If you want Ruth, please fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.  She was born around 06/23/2014 and weighs 21.6  pounds.   Her adoption fee is $150.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Our dogs are posted on our website. Generally they live at our facility located on a beautiful 100 acre ranch in Texas. We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dog. We pride ourselves in providing a complete and honest evaluation of each dog to ensure the best possible placement for both the dog and the adopter. We welcome your visit to our facility in Texas.
