My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alfie is just about the best Beagle we have ever taken care of.  He is about 3 years old, and 36 pounds of pure happiness.  He gets along great with other dogs, walks reasonably on leash and is only a modest barker.  He likes toys, particularly kongs, and is house trained.  He has nice house manners and should be great with kids.

 

Alfi came in with a Cocker Spaniel of similar age, size and disposition that we have named Amos.  Amos is the "other dog" shown in the photos.

Alfie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots.  He is also heartworm negative.  His adoption fee is just $180.  If you are interested in Alfie, please call Jennifer at 530-708-2377 or email HPHS@Ymail.com with information about your household.  Jennifer will get back to you within a day.
