Hi there, I'm Hayle! I'm a handsome black and white male DMH with a little white splash on my forehead. I was born around August 13, 2018, and even though I'm on the shy side, I am super sweet and I've got a lot of love to give once you get to know me. My siblings and I recently came to Wild Blue when our elderly owner was no longer able to care for us. We grew up with regular brushing, so if I'm a little tense, a gentle brushing session totally calms me, and it's a great way to become friends with me. You'll know how much I'm enjoying it because my purr is *loud*--like, really loud! I'm not exactly a lap cat, but I *love* getting pets right next to you--especially those amazing butt rubs! Also, I feel safe in a small space; it reminds me of my previous home where I hung out in the closet when I wanted to chill. Having my own space where I can relax and take life in small increments, is really what I am hoping in my next home. I'll always appreciate gentle attention and affection from my humans, and will just need some help in boosting my confidence. Churu treats and regular brushing sessions will not only strengthen our bond but help keep my coat luxurious. I get along well with other cats and would be happy in a home with some gentle feline buddies, but I feel some time alone to recharge is also important. A small cubby to call my own would be wonderful. I tend to hide when I'm around sassy girls or bossy temperaments. If you have other pets, it is important to follow Wild Blue's instructions for a slow gradual introduction. Also, I probably would be much happier in a dog-free home. A calm, low-key home with older kids (12+ years) would be ok as long as everyone understands that I need patience and dedication, and some quiet time once in a while. I recently had a dental visit and my recovery is going well. I am used to a quiet home so that is what I am seeking and need. If you're looking for a very sweet, low-key companion who enjoys affection, and you are willing to give me time to flourish, I'd love to meet.
