My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Winnersh. I'm a 10-month old, female, DSH, black kitty who was rescued along with my four kittens during a recent TNR project in Canon City. I am a teenaged mom, and I did a great job raising my kittens. My kittens have all been adopted, and my child-rearing days are behind me now (thank goodness!). I am now ready to be pampered and showered with love. I'm cautious at first, but who can blame me? I had to protect my kittens and myself from all of the dangers that exist outdoors. I am very sweet and affectionate, though, and I love to cuddle with my foster mom and sleep on her lap. I enjoy playing with all kinds of toys...yarn balls, toy mice, wand toys, and spring toys. I also frequently blep (stick out my tongue), which my foster mom says is absolutely adorable. I get along with my foster family's adult cats, except for her female cat who just doesn't want another addition to the clowder. I should be okay with friendly cats after appropriate introductions. I can also be an only-kitty who gets to hang-out with her person. I haven't been around kids, but as long as they are calm and gentle, I should be able to adapt. I get along with my foster family's dog, so if you have a dog who is used to cats and is not hyper, we should get along fine. However, if your dog(s) hasn't been around cats ever, I don't want to find out the hard way that the dog has a high prey drive, so please only cat-friendly dogs. Please be sure to follow the introduction procedures provided by Wild Blue Cats! to make this a good experience for all of us! I have been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. I have had a vet exam, and I am negative for FIV and FeLV. NOTE: I can NOT be adopted as a barn cat or be outdoors unsupervised. The outdoors is dangerous, and I want to live a long life!October 2, 2024, 8:03 pm
