What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Crowley has been an integral part of our family for ten years this December. My husband and I rescued him when we were living in Florida, where they told us he was about 8-9 months, which would make him almost 12 years old.
Crowley is an incredible dog, who keeps to himself and is very sweet and affectionate. We have recently moved to NJ from Colorado, and will be living with my in laws, and unfortunately, he does not seem to get along with my father in law. In 2018 before our wedding, it was the first time I saw his full hackles up and bare his teeth with him. Since then, it has not happened again, but he feels uncomfortable around him.
My husband and I have two young kids and Crowley is incredible with them, being a protective older brother and never taking his vigilant eyes from them. We also have another dog who he has grown up with, and gets along with other dogs, but we would prefer for him to go to a home where he is the only dog so he gets the attention/love he’s needing.
