Say hello to Major!
Major is an adorable Cattle Dog Jack Russell terrier mix puppy who is approximately 11 months old and currently weighs 38 pounds. He was found on the side of the road with his two brothers in south Texas near the border of Mexico. The puppies were starving, covered with fleas and ticks and were just in terrible condition. Thankfully a private rescuer was able to help these puppies and get them into our care. They have come a very long way and are doing great now! They are just the sweetest little guys and are ready to find their loving forever homes!

Major is a typical happy, playful puppy. He loves everyone he meets and is always ready for adventure! He has the best time playing with his toys and enjoys romping around the play yard with the other dogs in his play group. He loves getting attention and affection will make a very loving and fun addition to any family!!! Major is a sweet, social, smart and we can really see him doing in just about any family environment!
Major is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $375. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application.
*Major tested positive for Chagas disease and has started his treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
