Tinkerbelle and Babybelle came to PRBJ after their owner passed and the home health agency reached out to see if we could assist. Both girls are housetrained and great on leash. They are also crate trained and very friendly. They love people and get along with other dogs. We do not know if they have been around kids or not so at this time we are looking for an adult only home or one with older kids. Both girls will need to be adopted together.
Foster update 10.17.24 Since the weather has cooled down Tinkerbelle has taken to covering herself up with blankets or towels or burrowing into/under dog beds. She tends to just leave her nose peeking out or maybe one eye so care has to be taken she does not get stepped on by hooman or other dog! She is a very joyful little girl, loves mealtime and loves it outside. She does follow her nose outside so needs supervision! We did have to move a large potted plant as well as when she was outside she would put her front feet up on the pot and try to root in the dirt! Both Tink and Baby are very, very good about telling us when they need to go outside.
Foster update 9.30.24 We have been fostering the girls for about a week now and as they start to feel better after their spaying, their personalities are starting to show more. Baby especially has preferred to lay in a bed in the large crate we have for them, even though the crate is open. Tinkerbell is a bit more outgoing and affectionate. She wanders around the house and makes herself comfy on one of our many dog beds if she doesn't want to be in the crate with Baby though does like to lie in a dog bed in the crate as well. Tink will whine and scratch at the door if she needs to go outside. Both girls are overweight and get overheated quite easily. They sleep together in the crate all night and we do close it as they (not sure if one or both) tend to leave "presents" in the living room if we leave it open.
