My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bravo is a charming and quirky guy who will give you love and laughter. He was found in bad condition wandering the streets. Thankfully, a good Samaritan stepped in and got him help. Bravo enjoyed the safety and attention he received at his foster’s house. He REALLY enjoyed the food! LOL
Bravo is friendly and affectionate, but it takes him time to feel comfortable. He is so worth your patience. He is very gentle with people and loves pets and scratches. He is more relaxed one-on-one rather than with a group of people. He will bond strongly with you.
Bravo would do best as an only pet. He seemed to either bully or be bullied by other cats, most likely because he spent his first year and a half living on the street. He was not tested with dogs or kids. Bravo has been eating Purina One dry food and Friskies canned.
Bravo knows his name (also Bravissimo) and will show you his good-nature and loving personality. Just give him a minute!

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
