My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello... my name is Charger! I'm a two-year-old Maltese mix who weighs 14 pounds. I was found as a stray and the wonderful volunteers from I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue saved me from the shelter, took me to the vet, to the spa to get rid of my matted fur and then delivered me to my loving foster home. I am living with my foster family of 6, Mom, Dad and 4 teenagers and 4 fur siblings. I love to play fetch with the tennis ball but my most favorite thing is to snuggle with my humans. Whatever lap is available, I am sure to be on it! My foster family says that whoever adopts me is going to be very lucky so get your application in quick!

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
