Bellatrix is a 2 year old Poodle mix ready to cast a spell on her forever family to make them fall madly in love with her! Bellatrix was rescued from the shelter just in time for “Harry Potter Movie Marathon” season. This gorgeous girl weighs 42 pounds and has a stunning, glossy coat. Bella has a non-shedding hair type coat that will require regular grooming. She is an option for those with less severe allergies or who just want less hair around the house. If you’re ready for a spark of magic, bring home Bellatrix!

Bellatrix is a cuddly, loving, and affectionate gal looking to give all the love in her heart to her lucky forever family! Bella has such a fun and playful personality and loves to show off her ever-expanding pile of plush toys. Bella is affectionate with all she meets and is eager to make new friends across the world. She is a favorite among the residents of her foster mom’s building, and how could she not be with a face as adorable as hers. Bella is the kind of dog who thinks she is the perfect lap dog size, even though she’s a bit bigger than your average lapdog. We can’t bear to tell her otherwise so we make room for her on the couch! She’s also super smart and food motivated, looking forward to the little training sessions she’s had with her foster mom. Bella has a lovely temperament and is a perfect blend of energy. When she’s ready to play, she’s getting her zoomies on but when it’s time for a rest, she is ready for a nap. She is so eager to please her people and will be such a loyal companion to her lucky new people. If you know and love Poodles, you know exactly what we mean!  Bella’s dream home is a family ready to shower her in love and adoration. Bella is so funny and loving, it’s like there is a little person in her who’s constantly saying “Hi! It’s me!”. We know Bella will provide the spark of magic you’ve been looking for.

Bellatrix starts her day around 6 AM with a trip outside for a potty break. She has breakfast around 6:30 AM, which is kibble mixed with some fish oil for her skin. After she eats, she heads out on a morning walk around the neighborhood. Once she comes home, she heads into her crate for a few hours to snooze. She gets a walk around the block around noon and then snoozes on her bed in the afternoon. She loves her zoomies and plush toys and will keep herself occupied as the day goes on. Bella gets her dinner at 6 PM before she heads out on her evening walk around 7:30 PM. After a busy day of adventures, she jumps on the couch and falls asleep with the TV on. She goes out for one last potty and then heads into her crate for the night around 10 PM.

Bellatrix gets along with other dogs and is very playful. She would love to have a furry sibling as well as her new human family members. Bella loves kids, especially the ones with tasty snacks for her. She walks very well on a leash and would be a great companion when you need to close those rings! Bella is working on her excitement modification, but she is almost fully trained out of giving hugs when she's overly happy. She’d benefit from some additional training. Bella is such a great dog who wins over everyone she meets. She is so beautiful and wants to give the world everything she has to give. Bella can’t wait to meet you and make you fall madly in love with her!

Bellatrix is an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8.
