My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.

Velma is a beautiful 1 year sweetheart that we adopted as a young kitten but was recently returned to us because her family could no longer care for her. We welcomed her back with open arms and have promised her that the next home will be her forever one.

She was the first born of her litter when we rescued them and you can tell because she has always run the show. She is confident, smart, affectionate and vocal. She has a slightly fluffy coat that is so pretty and soft. She loves a good brushing session. She is playful and full of life and herself. She is sure to bring countless years of fun and love to her new home. She is precious with a capital P.

She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. Apply to adopt this beauty today!
