My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

All dogs on our website ARE available and require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application. The application can be found on this link or by visiting our website at bfpa.org.   https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC.

Bebe is a sweet, loving girl who is 11-12 years old and weights 15 lbs.  She definitely wants to be close to her people but is not really a lap dog.  Once she gets to know you, she will show you that she has a lot of personality.  She is good with people and ignores the other dogs in her foster home.

Bebe is food motivated and learns quickly.  She is house broken and is taken outside regularly.  She usually takes care of business right away since she definitely is not a fan of hot weather. Bebe walks fine with a leash and harness but will not need a lot of exercise.  She has a beautiful coat which will be welcome during the winter months.

She is crate trained but she isn't a fan. She really doesn't need to be crated if someone is home. She has been left in her crate for up to 10 hours and didn't have an accident. She can be vocal at times so probably wouldn't be appropriate for living in an apartment or townhouse.

She would be fine living with another dog who doesn't expect her to play with them. She likes to get her beauty sleep and would love a home where someone was home most of the time.  While she doesn't really pay much attention to the other dogs in her current home, she does like the comfort of being crated next to another dog if they are left alone in the house.  Bebe could be an only dog if the adopter was home most of the time since she likes to be with people and be a part of the family.

Bebe was rescued from a shelter and would love you to consider giving her the loving home that she deserves.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.

Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.
