Russell is an almost 5 year old purebred ragdoll cat (birthday October 10!). He has grown up with a black lab and does very well with him. He typically doesn’t love meeting other animals, so is best in a 1-pet home.
He is an independent cat most of the time but loves to snuggle in the evenings, especially curling up on your lap if you’re sitting down to read or watch a show. He loves to perch and find high places to rest, like the tops of cabinets! He loves to look outside and catch flies when they wander into the home. He has never loved scratching posts but enjoys feather toys!
We have loved our boy, Russy, for the last 5 years. Recently our life has become too stressful for him. With an active 3-year old, lots of coming and going, visitors, home projects and renovations, he has developed anxiety and has occasionally stopped using the litter box. We think with a calmer home environment he will return to the sweet, obedience cat we’ve always known him to be.
