My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jacklyn, a resilient and sweet 2-year-old Feist who has overcome incredible odds to find her forever home. After surviving a harrowing accident where she was hit by an ATV, Jacklyn has shown remarkable strength and spirit, bouncing back to become a happy and healthy pup ready for adoption. Jacklyn is not just a survivor; she is affectionate and loves everyone she meets. Her gentle nature makes her a perfect companion for families and individuals alike. Jacklyn is both house and crate trained, making her an easy addition to any household. Our little lady walks beautifully on a leash, enjoying her daily strolls.

Jacklyn gets along well with the multiple dogs in her foster home, showcasing her friendly demeanor.

More about this rescue

The Mission of One Love Animal Rescue is to rescue homeless animals, nurture them through foster care, and place them in permanent loving homes. We are passionate animal advocates who value the lives of these disadvantaged animals and recognize their enormous potential to be transformed into healthy and happy family pets. One Love promotes responsible pet ownership and encourages others in our community to be kind to all animals, to reduce pet overpopulation, and join us in our mission to improve the outcomes of homeless animals.

We are a 100% volunteer non-profit, so 100% of all donations go directly into supporting our mission. We rescue dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages and medical conditions from shelters locally and out-of-state, where chances of adoption are low. We also take in owner-surrenders. All pets are fully vetted - basic and beyond - prior to adoption.
