Meet Luna🪄

*People: Luna loves people and allows even strangers to pet her without hesitation. She’s a sweet puppy who loves to snuggle when she hears people approaching and often tries to climb into laps.
*Dogs: She gets along well with unfamiliar dogs! Rather than playing rough, she interacts gently. With her close friends, she playfully nips and enjoys active playtime.
*Cats: She hasn’t met any cats yet.
*Separation Anxiety: She may cry a little at first, but then she spends time sleeping. She also does well with strangers, not just her family.
*Potty Training: Since she’s young, she’s practicing going on the pads indoors and is making progress.
*Hygiene: She doesn’t like baths but tolerates them well. She’s unfamiliar with the hairdryer and is a bit scared, but she doesn’t try to run away. She isn’t afraid of brushing or nail clipping.
*Walks: Luna is practicing indoor leash walks at home. She isn’t quite used to it yet, so sometimes she stands her ground stubbornly. When she gets excited, she might pull on the leash with sudden movements.
*Car Sickness: After a 2-hour car ride, she drooled and panted. She needs short trips to gradually get used to the car.

💌Special Notes💌
*Since she’s still young, training may be needed for separation anxiety, potty training, biting, whining, mischief, howling, and barking.
*Since her father is unknown, it’s hard to predict shedding or her adult size. Her mother dog Emma weighs 18lbs.
*Luna has a gentle and calm personality, and it makes her a very lovable dog.
*She waits patiently and even gives up her food for her companion. After her dog friend finishes eating, she eats slowly on her own.
*She’s scared of sudden loud noises like crinkling bags or plastic bottles.
*Luna doesn’t like having her paws or mouth touched. When her paws are being cleaned, she tries to nip, so she’s slowly undergoing desensitization training.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
