After being found with severe chemical burn wounds, this resilient pup has healed beautifully and is now ready to find a family to love. At 1 year old and @ 45 lbs, Donovan is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and full of love for everyone he meets – humans and dogs alike!

Donovan thrives in a home with kids (he’s fantastic with the 5 children in his foster home, ages 6-16), and he’s incredibly gentle and patient with them. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, Donovan is all in! He’s great with dogs of all sizes, and he would truly love to have a furry playmate in his forever home.
Housebroken, crate trained, and a champ on the leash, Donovan is an easy-going companion who enjoys medium energy activities, but is just as happy to relax at your feet in the evening. His food motivation and eagerness to learn, make him a quick study for any new skills!
