My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Emma🧡

* Interaction with people: Emma can be shy at first, but when you make eye contact or call her name, she gently wags her tail. Once she gets used to you, she allows pets and wags her tail. Emma likes people and has a special fondness for women.
* Interaction with dogs: Isn’t particularly interested in other dogs. Is afraid of dogs that are bigger than her.
* Interaction with cats: Wants to chase cats she sees on walks.
* Separation Anxiety: No separation anxiety.
* Potty training: She only goes potty outside.
* Grooming: Tolerates bathing, brushing, toothbrushing, and nail clipping well.
* Walks: She used to be scared of walks but she likes them now. She pulls a lot less using a collar rather than a harness. People approaching suddenly or loud noises, fast cars can scare her and she’ll freeze up. Also scared of the sound of heavy rain.
* Car sickness: She does well in the car even for long trips if she's riding with someone she’s attached to.

💌Special Notes💌
* Emma is incredibly gentle and sweet. If you give her enough time and love, she’ll return it with just as much love and progress.
* Emma mastered sit, paw, down, and bang.
* She knows when it’s food time and sits at her designated spot to eat if you tell her to
* Stays in the corner when taking the elevator and doesn’t get off until you tell her to!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
