Katy came to us from another rescue for a better chance at adoption. She was found with an injury, but the vets in her area fixed her up and cleared her health. The shaved spot on her side should grow back in short time! Katy is a sweet girl who likes to take her naps somewhere high.

More about this shelter
New Hope Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization servicing Volusia County Florida since 1955.
Our policy is no-kill. We will NOT euthanize an animal to make room or to reduce pet overpopulation. “adoptable” means an animal is healthy and well-adjusted, not ill or injured, and can be safely made available to the public for adoption. We reserve the right to refuse admission due to space availability, or if the animal is dangerous, in poor health, or otherwise deemed un-adoptable.
