My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chica is a sweet pup that is looking for a loving foster home to relax in while she is recovering.

Reason for Foster: Left Hind Foot Fracture

Foster Time Frame: 3 Weeks

Foster Care Plan: Chica is being treated for fractures on her left back foot. She will need to continue to wear her splint and will go home with medication. She is healing well but we will need her foster to monitor to ensure she is keeping her bandage clean and that she doesn’t seem painful. She will have a recheck on 11/27 to recheck her bandages and splint. We will provide a medical consultation at her pickup appointment so you are ready to take great care of this sweet girl!

Foster to Adopt Program: Chica is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
