My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dennis is such a playful little guy, and is always one of the first to meet you at the door, especially when it's mealtime. Part of the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia crew", Dennis can often be found with his brother, Mack. They love playing together, wrestling, and hide-and-seek.

Dennis is a little chatterbox and is quite friendly with every one he meets. After playing, Dennis loves to cuddle up with you and purr away.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
