My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the adorable Chance! He is a 6-year-old Pomeranian. This little guy absolutely loves being with his people, so he would be a great, little companion for a retired couple. Chance does fine with smaller dogs his size and is non-reactive to cats, but he is afraid of big dogs and will snap at them. Chance can also be a runner if he gets off leash before he feels like he is home, and a fenced-in yard is preferred. If you are looking for a little buddy as a companion, this is the guy for you! Chance is crate and house trained, neutered, current on all vaccinations and on monthly preventatives. To apply to adopt Chance, visit our website at www.handsofhoperescue.com and fill out an application! NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE (Petfinder is not an application)

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Since we are a foster based rescue, you will need to contact us about our available dogs up for adoption. We do hope to have adoption events in the future at different locations.

More about this rescue

We are a new rescue, we are working on our 501C3, have our Kansas State Tax Exempt status and will have Federal soon. We save dogs from Kansas and surrounding states that are set for euthanization, are in high kill shelters, or are surrendered by owners who cannot keep them anymore. We are FOSTER HOME BASED ONLY and do not have a kennel, so all of the dogs we take are kept in a home to be loved by a foster family. We are a group of people who want to make a difference once dog at a time.
