Pipsqueak may be his name, but don't let it fool you--this little one is feisty and not afraid to show it! Pipsqueak is a lover, not a fighter--unless you happen to be a brush, that is! He loves cuddling, and he's the perfect size to be a lap-warmer. Pipsqueak loves playing with other dogs but would prefer cats keep their distance. This chihuahua can be a little grumpy sometimes and reluctant to change his ways, but he has a heart of gold. Pipsqueak walks well on a leash and and loves any opportunity to let the breeze ruffle his mane. Pipsqueak would do best in a home without small children, but would make an excellent companion for both quiet nights in and little adventures. Does Pipsqueak sound like your new best friend? We do not have a public facility. In order to meet our pets, please fill out an application.

Meet the Pet

Once you are approved, you will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet.

Home Check

Once you decide to adopt, we do require a virtual home check before adoption

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees cover spay/neuter for our dogs, vaccinations, heart worm testing/medication, microchipping and any vet care necessary. Once you fill out an application on the adoptables tab on our website, http://pawpatroldayton.com/adoptable-dogs, a representative will conduct a reference check with your vet provided. A call to the potential adopter will be made when the representative is done verifying the information on the contract.

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for pets living in our community.

Our Mission is:
OUR MISSION
- To rescue and re-home neglected, abused, or otherwise unwanted pets into loving homes.
- To provide shelter in the form of a lean-to or doghouse to outdoor pets in an effort to keep them dry and warm.
- To provide outdoor dogs with alternatives to chaining in order to improve their quality of life.
- To promote the importance of spaying/neutering pets and to offer this service to pets in our community.
- To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of pet tethering.
- To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their pet happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
