Our friend fed and trapped Chuy and his sister, Chula (also in our care), in May 2024. My wife and I said we would get them spayed and neutered and foster them until we found a good home, preferably someone who will take them both (they are inseparable and bonded) and who will keep them as indoor-only pets. Chuy is still a bit shy but has come a really long way. He loves hanging out with us in the living room. We have three cats already and a dog, so it's infeasible to keep them. But we are committed to finding a loving, committed forever home. He is a good eater and loves to play with his sister.
