Vanellope is a beautiful 1-1/2 year old female Pit Bull Terrier who came to the HSOV on September 26, 2024 after she was picked up on Lancaster Street/State Route 676 in Waterford Ohio by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden. Vanellope was accompanied by a handsome male Pit Bull Terrier (Wreck-it-Ralph) who is most likely her brother. Neither of this adorable pair were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
Vanellope has dark gray/charcoal short smooth coat with white markings on her chest/belly, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, a blue/gray nose, a dusting of white on her muzzle, and short floppy ears.
Vanellope & Ralph have happy, 'Type A' personalities and weren't shy about asking for attention from anyone who happened to walk by their kennel the day they arrived.
Thanks to HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver for accompanying Vanellope for glamour photos late in the afternoon on September 26, 2024 before she and Ralph were taken indoors to their rooms and served dinner before bedtime.
Vanellope weighs 62 lbs and is energetic on a leash.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Vanellope will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
Vanellope had an approved adoption hold as of November 7, 2024. She went home with a foster family over the 2024 Thanksgiving holiday but did not get along with cats in the family's home ...So Vanellope is looking for a home that she would not have to share with feline friends.
