Dog Name: Gouda
Breed: Hound Mix
Sex: Female
Age: 4 Months
Weight: 30lbs
Medical Needs: Spay. This must be completed by years end, and is scheduled through Grass Roots Rescue. Spay/Neuter appointments can be requested for Georgetown, Dover, Wilmington or Newark. We will request the appointment at the location most convenient for the adopter. Foster to adopt families must understand we are given dates and whatever date their dog is assigned by the clinic, is the date they will be required to keep. Because the spay is still pending, foster to adopt families must live within an hour of one of the locations listed above, and must be willing to travel there for the appointment.

Good on a leash: Yes
Energy level: Low/Medium for a puppy! Very calm.
Need a fenced in yard: No, but should always be on a leash.
Dog Friendly: Yes, she loves being around other dogs.
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No.
Cat Friendly? Yes, but has typical puppy tendencies to smell and want to play!
Kid Friendly: Yes
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed? Any age with supervision.
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Meet Gouda, the perfect foster puppy who’s more than just cute—she’s your loyal best friend! She’s got all the snuggles, loyalty, and adorable puppy eyes—minus the chaos. Gouda’s idea of a wild time is a slow nap on the couch, and she’s so low-maintenance, you’ll wonder if you accidentally adopted a stuffed animal!
